[ Hey, it's Naminé again! Except... she looks a little--no, a lot--bewildered. When she woke up this morning, she'd been missing something very important. The next moment, she'd been here in Ecruteak City, a region over. That's what explains the very different backdrop--not the training center in Celadon, but rather, outside the Burned Tower.

It's a good thing her Vulpix is at her side, at least. It's a comfort--a small one, but it helps calm Naminé down. ]

I... didn't expect to appear here. Um, does this happen often, during these strange weekends?

It would make some sense that this was the world messing with them.]

Mm. I did. And I woke up feeling... different. [ It's said uneasily, and Naminé at least manages a little smile. It must have been even more surprising, for Roxas. ]

There have been so many more people around, too, I think.

[ So for Stan, nothing's really changed. He's the king of having an absolutely mundane start to a Weird Weekend. A girl shaking like a leaf in this spooky-ass town is enough to make him stop.

Misery halts at her master's side and lets fly a loud GRRROWL of a sound that is really nothing more than a dramatic yawn. Beside her scampers a little Vulpix who can't be more than a week or so old. Smaller than your average fox with the tiniest feet you ever did see. The fox springs forward to scamper her way over to other one near the blonde girl.

Stan and Misery groan and follow suit. It's easy to ignore something BUT NOW THAT ATTENTION HAS BEEN DRAWN... ]

You okay there, kid?

[ Naminé is still surprised that people have wanted to buy her eggs. Really, she'd not expected to see one so soon. Her Vulpix, though, seems to recognize the smaller fox, and immediately goes to mom over the little one. Pokémon can definitely tell who their offspring are, after all. ]

Oh! Um, hello there.

[ She kneels down to offer her hand to the little fox, then looks up. ] I'm... okay. [ Not very convincing. ] Just a little... lost. I've never been in Ecruteak before.

[ ... or most of Johto, for that matter. ]

[ The Littlest Vulpix paws at the other one, trying out the whole cute raspy bark thing and playing with her lookalike. ]

It looks like everyone's getting tossed around one place or another. [ A beat and he flicks his hand at HIS Vulpix. ] Felicity, you wanna turn down the attitude a little bit? [ What attitude? She's just trying to chew on the other Vulpix's ear. That's what dogs do, man. ]

Ecruteak's pretty neat. Reminds me of home. Quiet and creepy.

[ Aw, that's too cute... Some of Naminé's trepidation sort of melts away as she stands up. She recognizes him--he's definitely one of the guys who bought an egg from her. ]

I don't think Aurora minds. [ In fact, the bigger Vulpix seems pleased as punch. Tiny baby, you're not big enough to cause damage. ]

You must feel very comfortable here, then. [ She offers a polite smile. ] I'm Naminé.

[ The kids cause a lot of trouble because most of them are ghosts, alright. He tolerates very little screwing around depending on the day and how his joints are feeling. ]

Eh... [ Felicity isn't listening anyway, content with playing with her older counterpart. ]

Stan Pines! You're girl I got Felicity from! Maybe... My brain ain't what it used to be. All the blonde kids have started blending together... [ HM... ]

[ Naminé knows very little about ghosts, but she does know cute. She nods, folding her hands in front of her. ]

Mm, I am. [ So many blonde kids. ] Are there... really that many of us?

Entirely too often. I'd tell you to stay still so I can come get you, but honestly you'd probably be gone before I can get there.

[Ilya makes absolutely no attempt to hide how aggravated that makes her.]

Well... um, I think I'll be staying in Ecruteak for now. There's so much I want to see, Ilya...!

Oh don't get me wrong, Ecruteak's a great place to be. There are some fascinating stories you can find there.
