[ Hey, it's Naminé again! Except... she looks a little--no, a lot--bewildered. When she woke up this morning, she'd been missing something very important. The next moment, she'd been here in Ecruteak City, a region over. That's what explains the very different backdrop--not the training center in Celadon, but rather, outside the Burned Tower.

It's a good thing her Vulpix is at her side, at least. It's a comfort--a small one, but it helps calm Naminé down. ]

I... didn't expect to appear here. Um, does this happen often, during these strange weekends?

Well... um, I think I'll be staying in Ecruteak for now. There's so much I want to see, Ilya...!

Oh don't get me wrong, Ecruteak's a great place to be. There are some fascinating stories you can find there.

I just don't want you wandering around on your own.

Oh-- I'm not alone. There's someone with me, and he's showing me around.

[They can jaunt over to Lavender anytime they want, Nams.]

How long do you think you'll be exploring?

[ She's still learning to tell people when she wants to go places, Ilya! ]

Um... not for very long. His knees are bad.

[That's... not exactly reassuring. Every old man Ilya's ever met has been an asshole. Also creepy.]

... Is there anything strange going on, back home?

[ Home... it's still a new word to her, but it feels right. ]

No more so than usual, though I think I saw a swarm of Zubat hovering over a house elsewhere in the city.

Hopefully they won't come this way.

[shatterings]

A swarm of Zubat... um, that's a bit unusual, isn't it? Especially outside of a cave.

To say the least. And it's broad daylight outside too, which makes it even stranger. But so long as they stay away from the center I'm not too worried.

[shatterings]

I hope they do... What will you do if they come closer?

[ Naminé's worried, Ilya. ]

I'll have Berserker deal with it. He won't have... wait, it looks like someone's using Blizzard over there.

[There's a brief pause as Ilya's eyes widen a bit.]

Well, that takes care of that. I think they all just got frozen out of the sky.

[shatterings]

Oh! Um... I hope they'll be okay.

I doubt they'll die. With any luck they'll be sent off back to some cave where they belong.

[And away from her hair.]

Regardless, that seems to be the only strange thing that's really been happening around here. Perhaps Johto's being struck harder than Kanto.
