[ If you've spoken to Naminé before, you might notice she looks far more at ease now. Being around people who actually like her and mean her no harm has done wonders for her, and there's even a small, content smile there. She's sitting cross-legged on the floor, and in her lap is a Chikorita.

Making sure not to disrupt the sleeping Pokémon, she holds up a (probably familiar) feather. ]

... Is it normal to have things like these floating around? They're beautiful, but... I'm not sure what their use is.

Naminé...

[Lightning looks relieved. A little sad, too, because she can tell that her younger friend looks happier. It tugs at her heart and leaves a bitter taste in her mouth. She's happy, though, for her happiness.]

You look well. I've gotten some of those. My Vulpix picked some up as we were walking.

Lightning.

[ That little smile widens, and she gives her a small wave. ]

So do you. I'm sorry we haven't spoken much lately. How have you been? [ There's a pause, and she gently sets down the feather. ] I think a lot of people have found them. There must be a use for them, but...

[She sets her camera down on a dresser and sits on a bed. She's obviously in a hotel room, through her window the Sprout Tower can be seen swaying. There's also several Pokémon littered about the bed.]

Traveling. I'm seeing what I can before I make a decision.

Who knows... my other Pokémon are hesitant to touch them.

[Have a chipper girl who is holding an Eevee in her arms, who just so happens to be holding a feather in its mouth.]

Wow! You got one of those, too?

[ Wow. Even through the video, Naminé can tell this girl has a lot of energy. ]

Really? Do you think we can keep them?

[A sudden thought strikes her.]

I thought they were a bit like what happened last year, when Clair sent out all her invitations droppin' random bits down from the sky...

But there ain't any notes or such with 'em. Maybe they're from a new Pokemon of some sort. Wouldn't be the first time we've had strange swarms and the like.

Maybe... if no one knows what they're from or what they're for, maybe they are from a new Pokémon.

Must be a pretty lovely bird type, if this is what we're gettin'! There were more than a few gorgeous ones that came 'bout last time- were ya there for it?

Pretty, aren't they? I'd thought someone'd made a mistake of shooting someone's pokemon out of the sky but... it'd prolly not be this bad if that was the case.

They are. I was surprised when I saw something so pretty just floating around.

[ She looks a bit horrified at that idea. Shooting a Pokémon out of the sky? ]

... Would someone really do that to a Pokémon?

It's never happened before. This is something new, whatever it might be.

[She holds up her own.] There seem to be quite a lot of them, though.

Mm. A lot of people or Pokémon seem to have picked them up.

I've never seen them floating around before. [Then again, she was in the middle of Ilex forest....]

They're everywhere... it can't just be from one Pokemon, right?

I don't think it is. There are too many of them for that to be true.

Did one of your Pokémon find one?

But one has to wonder...what are they for?

[ Ah. She remembers him, and she right away has to find something to do with her hands. Nerves, probably. She strokes Li's head, and the Chikorita lets out a little content sound. ]

... Something special, maybe? Do you have one, too?

Maybe they're like rain or something and don't have a use.

[ It has been a while, and Naminé gives her a little wave. ]

Mm. Maybe. I wonder if we'll find out for sure soon.

[Naminé! Well, it's good to see her in high spirits after their last conversation, so, have one of Ringabel's charming smiles as he holds up a feather of his own.]

Perhaps they're simply for decorative purposes, or maybe they carry some form of enchantment. Whatever their use may be, they do make for a rather charming souvenir.

[ Will she ever not blush at one of his smiles? Maybe. But today is not that day. Probably nervously, she tucks a bit of hair behind her ear. ]

I thought they were rather pretty, too. My Chikorita doesn't seem to like it much, though...

[He's kind of looking one over himself, his expression not betraying whether he's particularly interested or not.]

Ahh, they're kind of like feathers, right? Maybe there's a Pokemon out there that they came from.

[ She studies her own feather for a moment, then nods and sets it down gently. ]

That seems to be something a lot of people think, too. Do you think... anyone has seen a Pokémon who might be leaving them?

Floating feathers, huh? I don't think that's normal. Not to my knowledge, anyway.

[Phoenix is sitting in a room somewhere, coffee in the hand not holding his Pokegear. The Shinx he got on Route 29 has evolved into a Luxio, now, and is curled up sleeping beside him. Phoenix gives Namine a smile, seems pleased to see her more relaxed.] It's good to hear from you, Namine. How have you been?

[ What a cute Luxio! Naminé nods and shifts, holding her Chikorita a little close. ] I'm doing well, Phoenix. I've been traveling quite a bit with a few friends. How are you?
