When someone close to you leaves... are there things you regret not telling them, or doing for them?

I think so, too.

I'll be okay, I think. Talking to a lot of others here has helped.

I had someone important leave a couple months ago and it really messed me up, but having other people around has been good. Cleared my head and everything. So I get that it helps, anyway.

I think a lot of us have someone like that. But... I'm glad you had people to help you, too.

Yeah. It's just sort of how this place goes, right? It sucks when it happens, but I think it's happened to almost everyone.

You want to talk about whoever it was?

Do you think that's one of the reasons everyone is so understanding?

Well... I've already spoken about Phoenix... but there's someone else, too. He's my best friend. I don't think I ever told him, though... but back in our world, he showed me kindness few others did.

Probably, yeah. It's easier to be understanding about stuff you've gone through.

It's okay. I know I'll see him again. We made a promise.

I get that, actually. God knows you don't break promises to your friends if they're important enough, I've made more than a few.
