[ She flushes, though, and turns the pages, showing him several sketches--some of her friends, but others are of the locals. ]

Well... um, drawing is what I'm good at, and so I figured drawing people where I am will help. And it cheers them up, too, I think.

I thought so, too. It really does make someone happy when I draw them, even if they haven't asked. Maybe... especially so, I think.
