Maybe it's because we've carried them from their earliest stage... and we're the first person they see?

Maybe? I don't actually know much about Pokemon breeding.

But it would explain why Pokemon you hand raise are immediately more friendly around you than wild-caught ones.

[Or it could be a higher initial friendship rating!]

I've noticed that they do seem to become friendlier faster... I've heard others say the same. I think it's sweet.

I do too. It's very sweet.

It's very rewarding when wild-caught Pokemon like you, too.

Have you ever had any difficult Pokémon?

Ah, sometimes. Jack's kind of a spitfire, and the two Tyrantrums I have can be hard to manage, but I don't think there's such thing as a Pokemon that's impossible to control.

They do seem very willing to learn... and so smart, too. You have Tyrantrums? Really?

I couldn't say no to two dinosaurs when a person was offering them last year.

I'm... not certain I would be able to handle a dinosaur, not to mention two.

Ah, they were little when I got them.

They're not dangerous, as strange as a thing as that might be to think about.
