[ The video flickers on and Naminé's looking incredibly unsettled. She's quiet for a while until she opens the door of her room. There, standing in the hallway, are two Meowstics--one female, one male--and a lone Espurr. Kind of like this, with the Espurr right in the middle. Standing. Staring.

Quietly, Naminé turns the camera toward herself. ]

When we woke up, we found them like this. I... I'm not sure why they're doing this.

... Is this normal?

[ It's definitely really unsettling, and Naminé glances back toward the cats. ]

.... or they know exactly what they are doing. Go tell Hope to knock it off, or I'm sending Vanille over.

[That threat always worked in the past...]

[ With Ilya's appearance, the cats scatter and Hope looks to the screen to see Lightning. ]

I think it worked.

[She nods and give Hope a small smile.]

You look a lot happier. Good.

[ Naminé gives his head a pat, and he pats her hand with his paws. ]

He says he is. It was... a little strange at first to hear him in my head, but... I'm growing more accustomed to it.

He can be rather chatty. But he knows better than to read minds. He's been chastised enough about that.

[She moves the camera and shows a Drifblim.]

Remember how Phoenix's friend sent one for us. Well, this is Nora. She just evolved yesterday.

Mm. He hasn't tried to read mine. [ She's visibly relieved at that. ] Not unless I tell him it's okay.

[ She perks up at the Drifblim's appearance and gives it a little wave. ]

Hello, Nora. Are you taking care of Lightning?

He's good about respecting privacy. Hopefully he can teach Ellie and Goggle that.

[Nora perks up and floats over, waving in return. She does a little bouncing bit that looks like a nod.]

She's a gentle soul.

I wonder if Goggle and Ellie will listen, though.

[ Naminé lets out a little laugh. Cute. ]

Mm. I can tell.

Have Hope tell them about Vanille. They'll listen.

[She gives Nora a gentle pat.]

She likes to hug me like this

[ A little Pidgey lands on Naminé's shoulder. She waves a wing in greeting. ]

This is Feather.

[Yeah, it makes her happy when her friends call her Light...

Nora perks up and touches the screen. Lightning nods.]

It's cute. Nora likes other flying types.

[ Feather lets out a soft chirp, bumping her wing against the video screen. Naminé looks a little embarrassed. ]

I didn't know what else to name her. So I went with Feather. It's not very creative, but...

It's cute. She seems to like it.

[Nora nuzzles Light to show Feather how much she loved her trainer. Light pats her head gently.]

Even if it's simple, they'll be happy. It makes them feel closer to you, I think.

I think nicknames do that, too. It makes it a little more personal.

Has anyone ever given you a nickname?

Oh-- Another girl, Rise... she called me "Nami-chan." A-and the others, I think, have started to, too.

I see. That is cute. Though... I think I'd like to pick my own nickname for you.
